Terms of use Junctura Finance

1. Who these terms apply to

These terms apply to everyone who signs in to an instance of Junctura Finance, that is owners and employees of a business that has booked Junctura Finance with junctura (Soami GmbH). The contract with junctura is concluded by the business; the terms apply to it. This page governs how the app is used.

2. Access

You get access by invitation from the owner of your business. It is personal: do not share your password and sign out when others use your device. If you suspect someone knows your login, change the password and tell the owner. The owner can change or remove access at any time.

There are two roles. Employees upload and view receipts. What they may do beyond that is defined by the app; owners additionally manage, among other things, settings, team, bank connection, exports and the subscription, and use the assistant Jai.

3. What is allowed

Use the app only for the receipts and figures of your business. Do not upload content unrelated to the business or content you are not allowed to share, and no health data unless your business has specifically agreed this with junctura. Do not try to bypass security mechanisms, access other people's data or burden the app with automated requests. There is a separate interface with a personal key for your own AI tools; use only that one.

4. AI in the app

Junctura Finance reads receipts with AI and suggests categories, accounts and matches. The assistant Jai answers questions and suggests changes. Everything that comes from the AI is marked as such in the app and may contain errors. Check amounts, dates and matches before relying on them. Jai does not change anything on its own: a change only happens once the owner confirms it on the card. The app is not tax or legal advice.

5. Bank connection

Only the owner can connect a bank account. They give consent at their own bank and enter the bank credentials only there, never in the app. Access is read only. Consent expires after 90 to 180 days depending on the bank; the app sends a reminder in good time. Connections can be removed at any time.

6. Your data

The data in the app belongs to your business and is stored on its server. Your business is the controller under data protection law; junctura operates the app on its behalf. Your business informs you which data about you is processed; junctura provides it with a template for this. How junctura handles data and which services are involved is described in the privacy policy.

7. Availability and changes

junctura keeps the app up to date and usually installs updates at night. Individual features may change as a result. If an AI service is temporarily unavailable, new receipts wait in the queue and are processed afterwards. These terms may be amended; the current version is always on this page.
